First anniversary of India scrapping Article 370- here is how Pakistan is planning to protest against India
On 5th August it will be a year that India scrapped the special status of Jammu & Kashmir by removing Article 370 & 35A.
When Indian govt announced the decision on 5 August last year, Pakistan is observing the day as ‘Black Day’ but Pakistani military establishment has planned a series of events — from a domestic media blitz to protests abroad — for the first anniversary of India’s decision to scrap Article 370 and bifurcate Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories.
Indian security agencies have managed to get a copy of the events being planned, and the list is exhaustive.
Pakistan is planning to take a group of foreign media corps to the line of control (LOC), as well as one for the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP). A white paper is also scheduled to be handed over to the UNMOGIP.
Also, a large number of news programmes are planned to be telecasted on the various news networks of Pakistan which will show nothing but criticising India’s move on J&K special status.
All Pakistani embassies around the globe have also been asked to hold programmes and protest rallies against India on the Kashmir issue.
